Join the Bishop's Company

We are excited to resume the annual Bishop’s Company Dinner! Members and their guests will be invited to a special dinner taking place on Tuesday, May 7, at the Royal Botanical Gardens (680 Plains Road West in Burlington). During the event Bishop Susan Bell will be in conversation with the Reverend Michael Coren, priest, author, and columnist.  

The Bishop’s Company provides resources that help the bishop respond compassionately and strategically to the urgent needs of our diocesan leaders, as well as respond to the needs of fellow siblings in Christ within our diocese and beyond. 

“Gifts to the Bishop’s Company help me to pastorally respond to the needs of our clergy, lay leaders, and divinity students,” said Bishop Susan. “So often this assistance from the Bishop’s Company is a lifeline for the people we are able to help together.”

• This support takes many forms, including:
  relief from extraordinary financial hardship
• assisting with unexpected medical and dental costs,
• compassionate care in the wake of an unexpected death.

Support the Work of the Bishop’s Company

Since the Bishop Company's beginnings, the many members have provided generously and with care through the Bishop’s Company Endowment Fund. Each year, individuals or couples are invited to renew their membership. New memberships are also encouraged through individuals who attend as guests at the Bishop’s Company Dinner and additional events such as the Bishop’s Company Wine & Cheese.

Members make an annual contribution of $250/individual or $450/couple in support of the bishop's important pastoral ministry. Membership also comes with an invitation to the annual gathering with the bishop.
